Timeous Reporting
1. The theft/loss of a phone must be reported to the police within 24 hours of the incident/loss.
2. Phonesured will need the police report number and your cellphone number.
3. If your phone was fraudulently used before you reported the loss, Phonesured covers you up to a point, depending on their Terms and Conditions.

Blacklist Your Phone
You are requested to suspend your sim card and blacklist your phone immediately.
To do this, complete the form (obtainable from Phonesured) and fax it back to the number on the form.
We'll need the phone's IMEI number (Serial Number) to be able to blacklist it. Once you have done this, you are protected against the fraudulent use of your phone.
Once an insurance claim is filed, a sim swop will be arranged, after your phone and sim has been blacklisted and suspended.

Insure Your Phone
Since loss and theft are common, it is highly recommended that you insure your phone to avoid the inconvenience and expense of having
to buy another one.
